BirdMAM Trio Come To Clarence Jazz Club

Published

on

A force in Spanish jazz is heading to Torremolinos, as the talented Murcia-based BirdMAM Trio gears up to wow the audiences at Clarence Jazz Club. The band will take to the stage with their live performance on Friday, June 5 at 10pm.

Formed around a classic piano, double bass, and drums lineup, this tight-knit group injects energy, sophistication, and incredible stylistic range into every single performance.

What to expect on the night from BirdMAM

Their latest show,  Standards and Not, bridges the gap between classic jazz and modern music. Expect a lively mix of traditional jazz tunes, upbeat Latin rhythms, and surprising jazz versions of famous pop and rock hits. Because the trio loves to improvise live, no two songs sound the same. If you think jazz concerts can sometimes be a bit predictable, this energetic show will definitely keep you on your toes and prove you wrong.

Three musicians, one sound

Pianist Marcos Avila has been studying since the age of six under heavyweights like Perico Sambeat and Marco Mezquida, regularly working as an arranger and composer across many Spanish projects. Bassist Andres Garcia developed his deep groove through formal jazz studies and international seminars, while drummer Miguel Angel Torres brings raw, self-taught talent and national touring credentials with bands like Neuman and Clara Plath. Together, their combined energy and talent creates an exciting live experience.
