10 Days, 8 concerts, tickets from €5. Nerja’s first major festival is almost here

Published

on

Nerja’s music scene is scorching hot up this June as the town hosts its first large-scale outdoor music festival with Solaris Nerja 2026. Ten consecutive days of live concerts at El Playazo beach from June 18 to 28.

What is Solaris Nerja 2026?

Spread across more than 20,000 square metres of beachfront, the festival divides into two distinct areas. Solaris Village, a daytime zone with a design market, food and drink, and digital art installations. Then there is Solaris Arena, where headline concerts take place, these require a separate ticket for each night and operate with controlled capacity.

A music lovers dream, the incredible line-up

Eight events have been confirmed so far.

The opening day features Les Castizos alongside Peppe Citarella, Manu BS, and Rafa Nandez.

Chambao makes an appearance with a special 25th anniversary concert, joined by Rosario La Tremendita. International party brand Bresh with its travelling dance event. The indie bill ‘Oh, See! Nerja’ features Ginebras, Shego, Puño Dragon, Neverland Bari, La Milagrosa, and Rata.

Noche de San Juan has  DJ sets from Aaron Sevilla, Claudia Leon, and Stella. Flamenco Beach Fest brings La Corredera, Migue de Antílopez, Elfos del Rocio. Techno Flamenco is headlined by Marsal Ventura.

The festival closes with Space of Sound, with international DJ Claptone topping the bill.

Ticket prices

The opening day starts from €5, a massively affordable entry point of the festival. For other events, tickets start from approximately €35, with pricing varying by night and experience. Each concert at Solaris Arena requires its own ticket, there is no single pass for the full festival which is great for people to be able to pick and choose the acts they want to see. Entry to Solaris Village, covering the market, food stalls, and digital art installations, is free throughout all ten days. Tickets are available through the festival’s official website. Chambao and Bresh are expected to sell out first, so buying early is advisable.

Nerja’s growing reputation as a hot music destination

The arrival of Solaris is showing something that has been building steadily behind the scenes. Recent years have seen Nerja’s reputation grow among both international and Spanish travellers, with visitor numbers to the area increasing.

The Caves Festival has taken place inside the famous cave complex since 1960, and the town now also hosts Noche en Blanco, an evening of theatrical and musical performances across the town. Free open-air concerts through Nerja Amigos adds to the music side of the area and now Solaris brings something new to all of this, a large-scale beach festival that gives music lovers a reason to book a trip around it.

Getting there

To make it as easy as possible to get to and from the event, shuttle buses will operate from Malaga’s Maria Zambrano station, with options for single or return journeys available independently of event tickets. Walking from Balcon de Europa along the seafront path is a straightforward option for those already in town. A taxi and private hire zone will run at the venue entrance, and Angel Drive offers a designated driver service with a 20% discount for Solaris attendees using the code SOLARISNERJA20.

For more information on the festival visit the Solaris Nerja website.
