Marbella’s luxury automotive scene gained a new dimension with the official launch of Sala Supercar Club Marbella, where the presentation aimed to entice membership applications and preview extra special vehicles. Olymp Cars Marbella teamed up with Sala Banus for a spectacular presentation at La Sala Clubhouse in Puerto Banus on Thursday, 14 May, to introduce this private members’ initiative to a select group of serious petrolheads.

Elite crowd witnesses club premiere

Guests at the event gained early insights into membership perks and viewed several vehicles from the catalogue. Hannah Murray of TRE fame handled the launch presentation, welcoming key figures from both companies, including Ian Radford, founder of La Sala; Wayne Elliott, managing director of Sala Group; Ian Lucas, director of Sala Group Inner Circle; and Bart Darowicki from Olymp Cars.

Fleet delivers unparalleled driving opportunities

Club participants are able to gain keys to over 40 high-performance and luxury vehicles with a total value surpassing €8 million. The collection features models from Lamborghini and Ferrari to Porsche, Range Rover, Mercedes-AMG and Audi RS. Some cars appeared on display during the evening to give guests a tangible sense of available experiences. Tailored events and experiences fill the annual calendar for members.

Membership levels cater to varied needs

Four tiers – Carbon, Silver, Gold and Black – supply concierge support, flexible vehicle reservations and entry into a network of like-minded individuals. Inner Circle membership grants further rewards and privileges across Sala Group’s broader portfolio of premium venues and services. Applicants complete verification to maintain club standards.

Community focus defines the experience

Hannah Murray shared insights in her address. “Tonight is about more than just incredible cars. It is about access. It is about experiences, and it is about lifestyle. Most importantly, it is about community.” She continued by mentioning the club creates space for people who appreciate the extraordinary in cars and in how they live, connect, socialise and enjoy life.

Leaders outline future vision

Wayne Elliott described the project as a logical next step for Sala Group. Bart Darowicki added that partnering elevates access to exciting vehicles through premium service and planned events.

Marenostrum Launches Haptic T-Shirts

marenostrum-launches-haptic-t-shirts

Marenostrum Fuengirola is taking live music to a new level this season with the incredible introduction of haptic t-shirts that allow concertgoers to physically feel the music through vibrations and sensory feedback. Developed by local Rhytmo, the innovation is designed to make live performances more accessible and immersive for people with hearing difficulties, meaning they can experience rhythm, bass, and musical intensity in a new and inclusive way.

How the haptic T-shirts work

Rhytmo’s garments are fitted with sensors and electrostimulators that convert sound into vibrations felt directly through the skin. Rather than simply listening, wearers experience rhythm, bass, and melody as physical pulses creating what the company describes as a fully immersive alternative sensory experience. Each garment costs around €300 to produce.

Rhytmo transforms music into physical sensations via electrostimulation, creating a new experience that engages other senses,” said Josema Ezquerra, Chief Executive of Rhytmo.

How can I get one this summer at Marenostrum Fuengirola

This first phase will have approximately 20 t-shirts made available at concerts on the main Unicaja stage, with priority given to those with hearing or visual disabilities.  Anyone wishing to use one must contact the venue at least 24 hours before the event by emailing accesibilidad@marenostrumfuengirola.es, where staff will confirm availability and protocol.

A summer lineup worth feeling

This year’s line up is equally as impressive as the last. The iconic Sting performs on July 13, with Gipsy Kings following on August 9. Latin superstars Romeo Santos and Prince Royce are also due to perform and many, many others.

The long-term accessibility commitment

Marenostrum Fuengirola has operated an accessibility Plan since 2019, partnering with Fundacion Music For All since 2023. Further measures this season include vibrating backpacks, magnetic hearing loops, subtitles, and sign language interpreters.

Rodrigo Rodríguez, Fuengirola’s Councillor for Culture, confirmed the goal is for every fan to enjoy live music on equal terms, regardless of physical ability.

For more information on the t-shirts and their other sensory equipment visit the Rhytmo website and for the festival visit the Marenostrum pages directly.
