Big Donny has been in so often that folk reckon he’s starting to look like one of the golden portions himself. Breakfast runs from 10am to 1pm seven days a week, in the heart of Fuengirola. Full Irish breakfast dishes, and smaller options and all the usual trimmings keep early birds and late risers happy. Then, the main menu follows from 1pm right through until 11pm, with family favourites that regulars keep ordering again and again.

As they boast, “the best roast on the coast” is served Sundays from 1pm to 7.30pm. Yorkshire puds, proper gravy made from scratch and all the trimmings pull in both locals and holidaymakers. Tables go fast, especially at the weekend.
