Amateur detectives can put their sleuthing skills to the test in Torrevieja this October while helping to raise money for a local Alzheimer’s charity.

The Stagestruck Players will stage a Murder Mystery Evening at Easy Tiger on Friday, October 16, combining a two-course meal with an interactive night of clues, secrets and suspects. Tickets cost €20 per person, with advance booking required.

Guests challenged to crack the case

Guests should arrive between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM to enjoy their meal before the murder mystery begins at 8:00 PM.

Once the performance gets underway, teams will be challenged to follow the action closely, examine the clues and piece together the evidence as the story unfolds around them.

The format offers something different from a conventional theatre performance, with the audience becoming part of the challenge rather than simply watching from their seats.

As secrets emerge and suspects come under scrutiny, teams will have to decide who they believe is responsible and see whether their detective work leads them to the correct solution.

Tickets include a two-course meal

Tickets for the evening cost €20 per person and include both the two-course meal and the murder mystery performance.

Places are limited, so anyone hoping to take part will need to reserve in advance. Payment must be made in cash at the time of booking.

Guests are asked to arrive between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM, allowing time for the meal before the entertainment begins at 8:00 PM.

Tables can be reserved directly at Easy Tiger or by telephone.

Evening supports Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association

As well as providing an evening of entertainment, the event will help raise money for the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association.

Money received by the Stagestruck Players will be donated to their chosen charity, adding a fundraising element to the October event.

The association supports people affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias, along with their families and carers.

The Murder Mystery Evening takes place at Easy Tiger, Torrevieja, on Friday, October 16.

To reserve a table, visit Easy Tiger directly or call (+34) 711 077 162.

Vine Church Pinoso is combining its annual Harvest Festival with a food collection to support two organisations helping people in need.

The English-speaking Christian church will hold its Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 4 at 11:00 AM, with residents invited to attend the service and contribute to the charity collection if they wish. Donations of dried and tinned food will support the work of Cruz Roja and Caritas.

Harvest Festival begins at 11:00 AM

The Sunday service will focus on giving thanks for the year’s provisions and will include traditional harvest hymns.

The celebration offers local residents an opportunity to take part in a traditional Harvest Festival, with both regular members of the congregation and newcomers welcome to attend.

Vine Church Pinoso is an English-speaking church, making the service particularly accessible to international residents living in Pinoso and the surrounding area.

Refreshments will be served following the service, providing an opportunity for those attending to stay afterwards, meet other members of the community and chat.

The Harvest Festival begins at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 4.

Food donations will support local charities

Alongside the church service, organisers are collecting dried and tinned food for Cruz Roja and Caritas.

The collection provides a practical way for people attending the Harvest Festival to help local families and individuals who need additional support.

Food donations are entirely optional, so there is no requirement to bring anything in order to attend the service.

Anyone who would like to contribute is encouraged to bring suitable non-perishable food items with them on the day. These will then be donated to support the charitable work carried out by the two organisations.

International residents are welcome to attend

The combination of the traditional Harvest Festival and food collection gives residents the opportunity to mark the occasion while also helping people in need within the wider community.

As services are held in English, the church also provides a familiar setting for international residents who would like to attend a Christian service in the area.

Vine Church Pinoso can be found on Calle Ventiocho de Marzo in Pinoso, on the road behind Pere y Pepa.
