Tickets are almost sold out for one of Benidorm’s most outrageous bingo parties, with Anyway Up Bingo returning to the resort for its annual November Fiestas Edition. The popular event will take over the legendary Talk of the Town bar for two afternoons on Tuesday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 11, with organisers urging people to secure their tickets before they disappear.

Tickets selling fast for music and comedy bingo show in Benidorm

Now in its third year, the November Fiestas Edition promises an afternoon that is far removed from traditional bingo. The event combines music, comedy, bingo and party anthems, with plenty of audience participation and entertainment throughout. Paired with the venue, Talk of the Town, one of Benidorm’s oldest cabaret show bars, the show is certain to be an unmissable event in the Costa Blanca hotspot…and tickets are selling fast.

Both days of the event run from 1:30pm until 6:00pm at Talk of the Town and feature Jamie Discos, Jimi Webb and Mavis Davies. At the event, guests can expect plenty of singalongs, comedy, dancing and bingo, alongside the party atmosphere that has become a feature of Anyway Up Bingo events.

With the promise of music, comedy, bingo, and banter, the event is for anyone looking for something a little different, whether attending with friends, celebrating a special occasion or simply wanting to join one of Benidorm’s lively daytime parties.

Interested visitors urged to book as soon as possible

Only the last remaining tickets are available for both dates, meaning anyone hoping to attend is strongly encouraged to book as soon as possible.

Anyway Up Bingo’s team, including Jimi, Jamie and Mavis, will be returning to Benidorm following their latest UK tour with Crissy Rock. With these two dates already selling rapidly, organisers are urging bingo fans, curious newcomers, and partygoers not to leave it too late if they want to join the November fiesta madness.

“Jimi, Jamie and Mavis are counting down the days until we’re all back together, causing just the right amount of chaos!” stated the organisers in a Facebook post about the event.

A weekend of retro rhythm and vinyl nostalgia is set to bring a soulful soundtrack to the Costa Blanca this October, as the Vinyl Avengers land in both Benidorm and Albir for two groove-filled sessions. The UK-based duo, known for their strictly vinyl-only sets, will be spinning a rich mix of Motown, 1960s soul, 1970s funk and disco, alongside northern soul, ska, 2Tone and mod classics. With an emphasis on authentic sound and carefully curated records, the Vinyl Avengers will put on a show that goes far beyond a typical DJ set.

The Vinyl Avengers take the Costa Blanca

The first event will take place on Saturday, October 24 at The Pub on Calle de Londres in Benidorm, running from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. This evening session is expected to draw a lively crowd, blending locals and expatriates with a shared love of timeless tracks and dancefloor favourites. The following day, Sunday, October 25, the show will move to The Live Lounge in Albir, located between the Costa Blanca hubs of Benidorm and Altea. Running from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, this afternoon show will provide a more laid-back setting while keeping the same high-energy selection of classic cuts.

Vinyl-only sets celebrate classic sound

What sets the Vinyl Avengers apart is their dedication to classic vinyl culture. Every track is played from original records, delivering the warm, rich sound that digital formats simply cannot replicate. Their sets are carefully crafted to capture the spirit of each genre, taking listeners on a journey through decades of influential music.

A nostalgic and fun-filled October weekend for music connoisseurs

Whether you’re a lifelong soul fan, a mod enthusiast, or simply looking for something different on the Costa Blanca social scene, these events will offer locals and visitors alike a chance to step back in time and enjoy music the way it was meant to be heard. A creative and feel-good charity event is set to take place in El Campello this October, offering locals and visitors the chance to enjoy a relaxed morning while supporting a meaningful cause. Organised by animal rescue association Las Reinas del Biberón, the “Taller de pulseras solidario”, or Charity Bracelet Workshop, will be held on Saturday, October 10, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at La Casa de las Reinas, the group’s headquarters in the Costa Blanca town.

A creative charity event with a purpose

The workshop will invite participants to design and create their own bracelets in a friendly, social setting, making it an ideal activity for friends, families or anyone looking to try something different. No previous experience is needed, and all materials will be provided as part of the ticket price of €20 per person.

Design bracelets while supporting rescue animals

The price of entry includes not only the fun-filled bracelet-making session, but also a small “picaeta”, or appetiser, and the incredible opportunity to spend time with the organisation’s adorable rescued puppies. During the workshop, participants can get to know the furry friends at the shelter, connect with them, and possibly find a new member of their family.

What is Las Reinas del Biberón?

Las Reinas del Biberón is a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing and caring for vulnerable animals on the Costa Blanca, particularly newborn puppies, nursing mothers and those in need of foster homes. Funds raised through events like this go towards essential veterinary care, food and daily upkeep for the animals.

The workshop forms part of a wider programme of creative and community-focused activities regularly hosted at La Casa de las Reinas, a space designed to bring people together while raising awareness of animal welfare. The organisation often hosts weekly events, including charity breakfasts and pilates sessions, all in benefit of the sweet animals that call the shelter home.

How to join the workshop: early booking advised

With limited places available, organisers are encouraging early booking to secure a spot through the organisation’s official website, lasreinasdelbiberon.org. For those in El Campello and surrounding areas, it is an opportunity to enjoy a simple but rewarding experience: leaving not only with a handmade bracelet, but also with the knowledge that participation in the workshop directly supports animals in need.

Denia is preparing to celebrate the 9 d’Octubre, or the Day of the Valencian Community, as well as the following weekend, with a packed programme of cultural, musical and family-friendly events, offering plenty for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Why Denia is celebrating October 9

The main celebrations on Friday, October 9 mark the Day of the Valencian Community, a date that commemorates the historic entry of King Jaume I into Valencia and is widely celebrated across the region with traditional festivities. Local municipalities and towns like Denia, though they are officially a part of the region of Alicante, annually celebrate this day as a way to honour Valencian neighbours and unite the provinces under a shared heritage.

What to expect on 9 d’octubre in this Costa Blanca hotspot

In Denia, this landmark holiday is set to be a highlight of October; the programme includes music and dance performances, followed by a lively schedule of activities throughout the town centre. Families can participate in children’s games and entertainment, while one of the standout attractions will be a giant paella prepared for around 1,000 people, allowing the community to unite, share, and socialise together.

The atmosphere will continue into the afternoon and evening of October 9, with live music taking over bustling areas, including La Glorieta. The celebrations will round out with a traditional mascletà at night, a pyrotechnics show that features rhythmic explosions of firecrackers and is a deeply rooted part of Valencian celebrations.

A weekend of fun-filled events for the whole family

However, the fun will not end when October 9 does. The celebrations will extend into the weekend, offering activities like a puppet workshop at the Biblioteca Juan Chabás; the Dia de la Pilota on Sunday, October 11, celebrating a traditional Valencian sport and bringing it to a wider audience through demonstrations and activities; and the first Aplec de Gegants i Bèsties de Foc, a colourful street event featuring giant figures and fire-based performances moving through the centre that will add a theatrical and visually striking element to the extended festivities.

Together, these events create a lively multi-day celebration for locals and visitors that blends tradition, gastronomy and entertainment, ensuring there is something for all ages in Denia on this special weekend.
